Blaze then grabbed him and throws around, but Jimmy breaks out of it by hitting her with a spin kick. Jimmy throws an oil drum, but Blaze avoids it. He then appears behind her and kicks her, which Blaze blocks. Jimmy then avoids another swing and throws Blaze to the right. Before Jimmy could help him, Blaze bashed him in the back with a pipe. Axel then throws a barrage of electric-powered attacks at Billy, eventually bringing him to the ground.

As they gets up, Billy and Jimmy do a series of rapid attacks until Axel throws a perfect punch and hits Billy, causing him to stagger. The brother unleash a double flying kick and smashes Axel and Blaze to the ground. Blaze and Axel recover before clashing with Billy and Jimmy once more. Billy then kicks Axel back before rapidly striking him and sending him flying back with a whip. Meanwhile, Blaze and Jimmy grabbed a nearby object before Blaze leaps in the air, trying to bash Jimmy with a steel pipe, but he grabs it and slams Blaze down before throwing her back. Billy then lands and steps up his game by increasing the speed and power of his punches and throws a nearby oil drum at Axel, who breaks it in two before Billy goes in with a jumping kick. Blaze lands a cartwheel kick on Jimmy's head to push him back.īilly charges forward to deliver another set of blows to Axel, but he blocks it and sends his opponent back with his own punches before landing a series of uppercuts, sending Billy upwards. Jimmy dodges Blaze's follow-up attacks and tries throwing another punch, but Blaze avoids it and pushes him forward with a palm strike. Jimmy then tries countering, but Blaze grabs his arm and kicks him forward. Meanwhile, Blaze runs forward and starts throwing some punches that Jimmy blocks. Billy turns around and whacks Axel with a baseball bat. Billy and Axel both grab a nearby object and start clashing attacks, but Axel starts moving faster than Billy expected and leaps over him entirely, causing him to miss Axel and hit a nearby lamp post instead, shattering it. Meanwhile, Blaze and Jimmy trade blows until Blaze catches him with a sweep kick, but Jimmy backflips back before doing a spin kick, causing Blaze to go on the defensive. The game also features a Duel mode where up to 2 players can fight each other using techniques from the campaign. There is also a secret boss that can be faced on high enough floors. Completing higher floors unlocks characters for all the modes. The game features a survival mode called Tower Mode where the player fights waves of baddies on each screen to climb each floor of the tower. The game can played in single player with only one of the brothers. The game is a co-op beat 'em up with the players controlling Billy and Jimmy. It acts as a sequel to original NES Double Dragon games with visuals inspired by those games. Double Dragon IV is a beat 'em up released for the Nintendo Switch in 2017.
